If you have an ant or spider treatment done, we will treat all skirting areas where necessary, in the roof cavity and under the house where access can be gained. Externally we treat all window and door frames, eaves, garden beds, pathways, fence line, garages and sheds, any other outbuildings including the kid’s cubby, unless otherwise specified. All homes are treated on an individual and custom basis, as required by you, the homeowner.

We use the safest formulations available to us at the time of treatment. The formulations used are likened to the toxicity of table salt and has no odour. We still ask customers to vacate the premises to allow it to dry. This can be faster in summer than in winter. On average this is about 1 hour.

If you are having a general pest treatment, the period you need to leave for is about 1 hour. If you are having rodent treatment done you do not need to leave.

Pets, especially dogs should be removed for about 1 hour or until the formulation are dry. Same as for birds in cages . If you have a cat they will leave on their own accord. Fish tanks and bird cages should be covered with a sheet or towel.

This is highly dependent on the size of the property being treated, but usually, a general pest treatment may take an hour to one and half hours with a rodent treatment taking about 45 minutes. A more specific time can be provided upon making a booking.

Depending on what type of pest problem you are having, it can take anywhere from immediately to two weeks. This is regarded as a control period and will be clarified at the time of your booking.

If you are having a rodent treatment, you do not need to prepare anything. If you are having a general pest treatment you should put all food items away, including cookware, crockery and cutlery. Externally, all clothes should be removed from the clothesline, all windows closed and pet bowls turned over. The technician will advise if there are any other requirements on the day.

If the weather is not permitting on the day of the treatment, you will receive a phone call from our office before the scheduled appointment time and the treatment will be rescheduled.

Our experienced technician will inspect your entire home and exterior for termites. On average an inspection will take 1-2 hours, and the technician will complete a report on all of his findings. You will receive it either by email or post.

If it’s raining or looks like it will rain at the time of your appointment, we will contact you and arrange another suitable date to complete the service for you. The reason for this is the chemicals can possibly runoff into stormwater drains. This is not a good environmental practice. The other reason is that we need a dry surface to apply the pesticide effectively.

No, they won’t not unless it is an extreme case like in the event of a flash flood. Once the pesticide has dried and has been applied to a dry surface. It will not wash away. What most people do not know is the sun that breaks the pesticide down over time. This is why we encourage pest control to be applied up to twice a year. Prevention is the best form of pest control.

We will apply a gel to these areas which are often home to cockroaches. We do not apply a liquid spray in these areas. You are free to leave your cupboards as they are.

We will need access to the room edges as it will be necessary that we spray the skirtings. We would require that you remove clothing articles, newspapers, children’s toys etc from the ground surfaces. Items of food will also need to be cleared from tabletops and benches.

Yes, when applying wet chemicals vapours are released into the air. You will need to vacate the premises for approximately 1- 2 hours. On a hot day, the waiting time should only be around 1 hour. Due to the fact, the chemicals applied will dry faster. Leaving them dry and safe to enter your premises.

In this instance, we recommend that he or she is not present while we apply treatments but will be safe to return after 2-3 hours.

This will only be a concern if the sprayed areas are still wet. Should this happen, wash with soap and lots of water as soon as you possibly can. We apply the gel only to places within the cupboard where insects are found. This means it will only be applied to cracks, crevices, and hinges.
