Cockroaches
Nobody wants Cockroaches in their home. So eliminating them properly is vital.
Harm Level of Cockroaches
Cockroaches can carry disease and cause many levels of gastroenteritis (food poisoning, dysentery, diarrhoea, and other illnesses). They transport the diseases on their legs and bodies. Once they touch an object, they will be spread germs, viruses, or diseases. Here is an excellent article by the Victorian Government which further explains the health levels!

German Cockroach
German cockroaches are one of the most common roach species found in households and pose a serious risk to your health. These insects undergo three distinct life stages which span approximately 100 days, with each stage feeding on nearly anything they can get their claws on: from wiring all the way up through human food! The female German-born bug can produce over 400 eggs during her lifetime.
Here at Maitland Pest Control, we know that German Cockroaches are widespread. They can be found in and near food, warmth, and moisture-like areas behind your fridge, dishwasher, or in your pantry. No property is immune to German roaches. Before they become an issue, make sure to call us. Your home is your biggest asset, and we are here to help you protect it.
German cockroaches are nocturnal creatures that prefer to stay out of sight during the day. They love living in close proximity with humans, but they can be found anywhere from your pantry all the way up into our bedrooms! It is possible for them to multiply quickly and under ideal conditions, these bugs could breed up to an explosion of 1 million roaches.
German roaches cause respiratory problems for your family
Cockroaches roaming around your home, discard saliva, droppings, body parts, which become biohazards for your family. Once these particles are lifted up into the air, you can inhale which may cause flare-ups in asthma and a range of other respiratory-related issues.
Maitland Pest Exterminators is here to help you identify and remove any roaches. Our well-experienced technicians can provide the best services in town because we have industry-leading equipment!
Oftentimes, there are signs that indicate an infestation such as dust-like black droppings or brown irregular shaped smear marks which could mean one thing: Cockroach activity. You wouldn’t want these pests anywhere near your home so contact us now before they multiply.
A German Cockroach is a pest that can ruin your life and put you in danger. With their ability to contaminate food, produce an offensive odour from their body (which taints everything they walk on), these pesky bugs are not just bad for aesthetics but also for health reasons because of how quickly they spread bacteria.
If this sounds like something happening at your home then don’t wait any longer; contact us right away. Roaches transfer pathogens such as salmonella and e.coli to every area they scurry across. In some cases, they can also cause severe allergic reactions in humans. To avoid this, contact us now for more information on how we can help.
